The HSB Foundation was founded by S. Satinder Bains as a tribute to his late father, Shri Harchand Singh Bains, whose life was deeply rooted in the noble profession of teaching.
Throughout his career as a school teacher, Shri Harchand Singh Bains believed that education should reach every child, irrespective of financial or social background. He consistently encouraged learning beyond textbooks—instilling discipline, curiosity, and moral values.
The Foundation continues this legacy by supporting educational initiatives that create meaningful and measurable impact in the lives of students and schools.
